February homeschooling: free resources for Valentine's Day & President's Day

I'm gathering some ideas for theme-based lessons for February so I thought I would share what I have found so far that might be helpful in your homeschool, too.  Best of all, it's all FREE!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day notebooking pages has themed pages for taking notes, writing stories, or whatever you think of related to your Valentine lessons.

Valentine's Day Fun Book for the little ones in your homeschool, this has math pages, puzzles, coloring pages, and more.

Enchanted Learning has fun ideas for crafts, homemade cards, and mini-books about Valentine's Day.

I have a Pinterest board dedicated to Valentine's Day ideas, too.

We made this Valentine bookmark using craft foam.

Our Valentine cut-out cookies.

 

President's Day

President's Day Holiday Helper has picture studies, copywork, and stories focusing on Lincoln and Washington.

Learning Across the USA President's Day features information about the birth states of both Washington and Lincoln.  Tailor your geography lesson to the holiday!
