Savannah at
Hammock Tracks has a weekly feature every Monday about homeschoolers called "Who Homeschools?" She contacted me about being the featured blogger this week and I was glad to participate.
Here is an excerpt from the interview:
- Do you have a vision statement for your home school? If so, what is it?
We call our school Legacy Academy. Our motto is Lux et Veritas – light and truth. It’s my vision to leave a legacy of literacy and learning for my children to pass along to their children, and so on. I want them to thirst for knowledge and hunger for more than mediocrity. I want our family bonds to be strengthened, with love at the center of all we do.

I've been nominated for the
Circle of Moms Top 25 Homeschool blogs. If you have a minute, would you vote for me, please? (Embracing Destiny) I'm sure you'll find many of your favorites listed and you can vote for them all once a day. It's a great way to find new homeschool blogs to read!
Voted! Fun interview!
ReplyDeleteI love your school name and motto!
ReplyDeleteIt's so important to have vision as we train our children! I'm joining you from TOS. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful motto! We haven't ever taken that step. Congratulations on the Circle Of Moms nomination. It's been pretty stiff competition this year.
