Ultimate Blog Party 2012
This is my third (or is it my fourth?) year participating in the Ultimate Blog Party hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom. I look forward to it every spring as a fun time to meet new bloggers and make some friends. I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit. Please take a minute to leave a comment and I'll do the same for you. I'd also appreciate new GFC followers (upper right sidebar) and will be glad to follow you back!
I originally started my blog for homeschool reviews, but it has become a place to share my faith in Jesus, my love for my daughters (ages 10, 4, and 2), and bits of life in general as a stay-at-home homeschooling writer mom. My husband and I will be celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary in June. Where has the time gone? I was only 20 when we got married and still had a lot to learn about what makes a marriage work and last for the long haul. I'm blessed to say that it's worth the work!
I've had success as a freelancer with magazine and newspaper articles, as well as short stories, but my true writing goal is to finish and publish a novel.
For Autism Awareness Month in April, I will be sharing about autism and our personal experience with a daughter on the spectrum.
Beginning May 14th, I will be sharing 5 days of Classic Books for Girls (and the lessons that go with them), so if you homeschool or have daughters or love books and want to re-visit some favorites from your own childhood, please stop back and join me!
Be sure to enter my current giveaway for The 5 Love Languages of Children by Dr. Gary Chapman. It's open until midnight on April 17th.
You can find me on Facebook and Twitter.
