If I could wrap up the best gifts for the new year to give to my family and friends, I would include these things:
Grace, that you may forgive others and know forgiveness yourself
Compassion, that you may help others when it’s within your ability to do so
Contentment, that you may live in the moment
Generosity, that you may freely give and thereby freely receive
Hope, that discouragement never darkens your dreams
Faith, that you may know the One who made you and cares for you
Love, that overflows and never ends
I pray you will be blessed with these things in 2012.
