"Baby's Little Bible" by Sarah Toulmin (Kregel Blog Tour)
It's never too soon to share Bible stories with your children, even as babies. It's important to have quality Bible story books with baby-friendly pictures they can enjoy. Baby's Little Bible by Sarah Toulmin is the perfect first introduction to favorite Bible stories like Noah's Ark, Jonah and the Whale, Daniel in the Lion's Den, the birth of Jesus, and his death and resurrection. The book is divided into both Old Testament and New Testament so that children will learn the Bible's correct timeline from the beginning. Obviously, not every bit of the Bible is included in the 159 pages, written in simple sentence structure similar to an early reader book.
Its compact, hardcover design is easy to hold while reading to little ones. The text is simple with sounds and action words to keep the interest of babies and toddlers. The illustrations by Kristina Stephenson are gentle and inviting. I would love to frame some of them as decorations for my daughters' rooms!
The book is available for $9.99 in pink or blue and would make an excellent baby shower or first Christmas gift. You can read an excerpt and see sample illustrations here.
More information from the publisher:
